Introduction to Blogging

How can I launch a blog? This essay answers the frequently asked issue of "How to Create a Blog Site" and walks readers through the process step-by-step.

The most popular CMS for blogging is WordPress, and it has a number of useful free and commercial plugins to improve the functioning of the blog site. Any blogger should utilize Bluehost web hosting because it offers a free SSL for life for WordPress websites and has excellent customer service.

Here is a step-by-step guide for creating a WordPress blog on Bluehost:

1. Hosting domains first

Despite the fact that there are many other hosting providers, Bluehost may be the finest one for WordPress blogs. I bought a three-year shared hosting plan with a free name that would be renewed after a year.

By choosing the desired plan, you can buy the hosting you think is best for you. You can also buy hosting by signing up or logging in. You can acquire the domain from Bluehost or any other supplier. You can now access Bluehost using the login information they supplied you. Once you've logged in, a screen will show up where you may log into WordPress to administer your blog.

2.Theme

There are numerous free WordPress themes available; for my WordPress blog, I've been using the Ocean WP theme. The theme is totally free, and you may use it to install all necessary plugins.

Log in at domain/wp-admin, for example, by going to your domain name. After logging in, a dashboard with appearance and themes will show.

Once there, enter the theme's name in the search field before installing and activating.

3.SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) (Secure Sockets Layer)

The secure encrypted connection between the web server and the browser is made possible by SSL. All WordPress-powered websites hosted by Bluehost benefit from a free SSL. Either you may go to the billing login on your WordPress blog and activate the SSL, or you can get in touch with Bluehost support and request it.

Bluehost login: Home > My site > Manage site

Access security and turn on SSL.

4.Configuring Mail and a Contact Form

After finishing the aforementioned procedures, you can set up webmail for your domain. Use e.g. The email address may be name@gmail.com if the domain is gmail.com.

Navigate to Email > Email Accounts in your Bluehost account. After providing the quota and adding the desired email, you can establish an account.

Once the email has been generated, visit webmail and sign in using the created email address and password (which is used to login to Bluehost account)

5.Plugins

Here are a few of the useful plugins that I use on my WordPress blog hosted by Bluehost.

Create all the pages required for the blog pages by clicking "add new," giving each page the necessary name, and then selecting "appearance" from the menu. All of the names of the created pages are listed under pages. Create a new menu, give it a name, check the boxes next to the page names you want, click Add to Menu, and then Save. This information will appear on your WordPress blog.

Simply drop the widget on sliders and footers by dragging it there.

  • Footer

Find the footer at the bottom of the page and customize it under appearance>customize.

  • Posts

Dashboard>Posts>add new, enter the post name, start writing the post, and hit publish. From here, you can control which posts will appear in the homepage slider's carousel.

  • Pages

Dashboard>Pages>add new, name the page, enter the desired content in the title, and click "Publish." You can also include this page in the menu.

7. Generate Revenue From Your Blog

To make money, bloggers display Google advertising on their blogs. In addition to being a passive source of income, blog revenue may be obtained by creating a Google AdSense account and submitting your website for approval. Once your website has been approved, you can log in and create ad units before pasting the appropriate code into your blog. The ads will begin to display within a few hours. If someone clicks on the advertisement you have on your blog, you will receive a small payment that can be seen in your AdSense account.
